Christmas Eve, 2010

It’s lunch-time, Christmas Eve. I’ve given up hoping the agent will contact me before Christmas and am now hoping for early in the new year. (please oh please oh please…) It’s been a couple of months now, so it’s not looking hopeful. I’ve decided that if I can’t find anyone to publish Death Comes Dancing, I will probably either sell it as an e-book, or publish it here in installments. So there, publishing world! Watch this space. In the last two weeks I’ve lost two friends to cancer. They were both my age and until the Big C they were quite healthy. I can’t understand how they’re gone and I’m still here. I’m asthmatic, overweight (times that by 5), collapsed discs in my spine, half my chest...
